SAGE Research Methods Core is a research methods library with more than 1,000 books, reference works, journal articles, and instructional videos from the social sciences.

05.01.2026 – Library Renovation: Temporary Closure and Service Changes

During the renovation, we are expanding the space available for study and meetings. Consultations are provided in office R136 on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., or by email at knihovna@pedf.cuni.cz. The study room at Celetná 13 remains open under normal conditions.

During the closure:

• the lending desk and study room at M. Rettigové 4 are closed,
• loans due during this period are automatically extended until 4 May 2026,
• books can be returned at any time via the book drop at the porter’s desk,
• borrowing books (including via reservation boxes) is not possible.

For up-to-date information, please follow the faculty website and social media. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to welcoming you to our new spaces after the renovation.

16.09.2025 – We will reopen the library at M. Rettigová 4 on 29 September. The reading room at Celetná 13 is open daily.

The loan period for all books has been extended until 15 October 2025. The reading room at Celetná 13 is open Monday to Thursday 9:00–16:00 and Friday 9:00–13:00. We look forward to seeing you!
